Climate change is the largest and most dangerous threat to the natural environment and to our society we have ever experienced. Like all cultural sectors, the music sector needs to adapt to these existential changes to survive. It needs a systemic reform that will lay the proper foundations towards a more sustainable, just and inclusive live music system.

How can the music sector tackle these issues to both reduce its carbon impact and ensure the continued circulation of musicians to support artistic diversity? As professionals, what can be done to guarantee that artists can continue touring in the future, and help them do this in a more sustainable way?

During this discussion, led by female professionals actively engaged in the international music market, the panellists will examine the challenges encountered in achieving sustainability within the music sector.
