The network meeting aims to look at the growing internationalisation of Asia's cultural sector. Cultural professionals are among the best ambassadors to overcome physical and mental boundaries through their works, ideas with other peers and various audiences. But crossing boundaries are increasingly less visible between art disciplines and in-between sectors. The Asian artists, creators, should be able to share resources and free information through platforms and tools that encourage capacity building projects. Programs need to be implemented by providing support, including grants for the travel, accommodation and production expenses of creators, to facilitate the consolidation of their professional practice. The network meeting will not only highlight the sustainability and creative crisis the Asian artists are facing today but also lay out a plan of action towards a better future.
