Earlier this month, our WOMEX Founding Director Ben Mandelson headed to Budapest Ritmo as part of the Showcase Jury.
We are very proud to share that while there he received the first Budapest Ritmo Award for his contributions to the the world music community and the Central and Eastern Europe scene.
Upon receiving the award Ben said "we're proud and honoured to be the first in a list of equally-honourable future Award winners".
Congratulations to Ben from the entire WOMEX family.
