Despite not being able to meet in person this year for our annual reunion, the WOMEX team, together with our local partner Hangveto, has worked hard to put together a programme that allows all WOMEXicans to come together digitally. This digital offering provides a virtual space that allows the conversations to continue, the music to keep playing and the global connections to remain strong. It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the first ever digital edition of WOMEX. Tickets can now be purchased through the registration system.

WOMEX Award Ceremony
The WOMEX Awards recognise and honour the extraordinary artists and professionals from our community and their exceptional achievements in global music on the international level. Tune in to the first ever online ceremony and celebrate their hard work and dedication with us.
Budapest Ritmo
Our local partner, Hangvető, from the WOMEX 20 host city of Budapest, are putting together a special programme consisting of conference sessions, presentations, network meetings and showcases from the region. Taking place on-site, this programme will be streamed through virtualWOMEX and offers digital delegates the opportunity to get to know the local scene and dive into the vast musical culture of Hungary.
