Virtuoso Spanish guitarist Pipo Romero blends flamenco, Atlantic folk, and contemporary acoustic music, creating a distinctive instrumental voice through his Spanish Acoustic Fingerstyle. His innovative approach to the steel-string guitar fuses flamenco, banjo, and classical techniques, resulting in a rich and dynamic sound that bridges tradition and modernity.

With four albums, including the upcoming “Alborada” (2025), Romero has performed at prestigious venues and festivals worldwide, including Lincoln Center (NYC), Kennedy Center (Washington D.C.), Folk Alliance International, Budapest Jazz Festival, Seoul Music Week, Festival de Guitarra de Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), Visa For Music (Morocco), and TWMF @Taipei (Taiwan). His tours across Canada, the USA, and China have further solidified his international presence.

His albums have been recognized on global charts, with “Folklórico” (2017) reaching the Top 10 on the World Music Charts Europe (WMCE) and “Ikigai” (2022) charting on the Transglobal World Music Chart (TWMC). His compositions, often described as cinematic and deeply evocative, transport listeners through vibrant landscapes of Spanish and Atlantic traditions. Using live looping, percussive techniques, and intricate melodic structures, Romero creates immersive soundscapes that showcase his artistic depth and unique approach to acoustic guitar.
