SPES, the Latin, means hope, the second theological virtue.
The Duo SPES started its activities in 2006 touting classical music and Brazilian. In its repertoire there are pieces by Bach, Villa-Lobos, Paulinyi, Bochmann, Mozart, L. Fernandez, Pixinguinha, always looking for musical approach between Brazil and Europe
In January 2008, the duo made &8203;&8203;their first tour in Europe, debuting the piano trio Paulinyi in Spain (Madrid and Bejar), France (Maison du Bresil and Sala Villa-Lobos in Paris), the capitals of Hungary and England, with guest pianist Marco Aurelio Brescia. Same year he recorded the album "Pictures", released in August, ending the year with a TV documentary made by the Senate. The album "Pictures" was in February 2010, launched in Portugal at Universidade Nova de Lisboa with a lecture-recital (MinC support and presentation of Dr. Mario Vieira de Carvalho, State Secretary of Culture of Portugal 2005/2008).
In 2009, he performed in London with guest pianist Alvaro Siviero (MRE support). That same year, he attended the Mozart Festival in Poznan and Dobrzyca (Poland).
The Duo SPES launched in 2009 a project of exchange of chamber music between Brasilia and Europe had its first concert in May of that year with the participation of the quartet BlauKamara (Spain) with the support of the Embassy of Spain and in August of the same year Nyari Duo (Brazil-Hungary) with the support of the Embassy of Hungary.
In 2011, the Duo SPES extended her concerts around Europe, starting with Portugal, started with a concert Evora (Holy Spirit Church), three concerts in Porto (Rivolli Theatre) and in Lisbon (Centro Cultural Malaposta).
