The Portuguese trio Espiral released this Friday, the 22nd, the new single PANTAGRUEL, which is now available on all digital streaming platforms, thus lifting the veil a little more over the new album, to be released at the end of this year.

With interpretation by Ana Clément (recorders), Emiliana Silva (violin) and Sara Vidal (Celtic harp), this new work aims to reconcile the movement, which has been growing in recent years in Portugal, from folk dances and European dances to the so-called Celtic music, alternating between traditional repertoire and own compositions, as is the case of PANTAGRUEL.

With the trio's usual acoustic and instrumental sound, PANTAGRUEL moves us to the rhythm and naturally invites us to dance, being inspired by the an dro rhythm, one of the most characteristic and well-known collective dances in the traditional music of Brittany (the region located in the northwest of France and considered as one of the historic Celtic nations).

The entire recording and musical production process was carried out by the musician Quiné Teles at Estúdio Sótão da Velha (Ílhavo). The videoclip was recorded by Rui Russo at the Lvsitânea Druidic Center, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, with the support of the Assembly of the Lusitanian Druidic Tradition.
