Fusion of the band Forró de Rebeca which takes its inspiration in the cultures of north Brazil (Samba de Cooc, Capoeira, Baiao, Maracatu...) et the US producer Maga Bo, inventor of Tropical Bass, Sociedade Recreativa offers a powerful travel in an imaginary territory, where electronic arrangements give a new life to ancestral rythmes.
Between Lyon and Rio de Janeiro, artists multiply two-way trips. For a side to the other, Sociedade Recreativa carry on experimenting and creates a new style, a transatlantic sound. Their first album was recorded in 2015, counting with the participation of occitan MC Papet J (Massilia Sound System) and the feline voice of the shining Flavia Coelho.
