She sang several years with Scalabitan Orchestra and after she went to Madeira Island where she began singing Fado.Rosa Madeira toured in U.S.A.,Venezuela and Canary Islands.In 1985 she recorded her first record and at the same time she was singing in the Casino at Estoril.Next year she went to South Africa touring in Pretória and Joanesburgo.Later on in 1993 she took part in the commemorations of the Portuguese Cultural Sports Centre in London.She performed at the Expo 98 invited by the Symphonic Orchestra of Venezuela.The orchestra awarded her in Madeira Island.
