El compositor, cantante, guitarrista, letrista y productor neerlandés Rick Treffers tiene un largo recorrido en la música indie en Europa. Desde 2003 pública álbumes como Mist. En 2021 publicó Looking For A Place To Stay, el primer lp bajo nombre propio. Sus canciones melancólicas y elegantes se caracterizan por una fuerte sensibilidad melódica, arreglos con textura, aires de indie folk y pop de cámara y letras intimistas. Canta en inglés, y también en neerlandés y español. En 2024 se publicará The Opposite Of Never, el álbum número 13 de su carrera, colaborando con varios músicos de España, Holanda y Alemania.

Dutch songwriter, guitarist and producer Rick Treffers has an impressive career in the European indie music scene. Releasing music as Mist since 2003, and since 2021 under his own name, with the album Looking For A Place To Stay. His moody, elegant songs show a strong melodic sensitivity, arrangements with texture, traces of indie folk and chamber pop and lyrics full of intimacy. He mainly sings in English, and also in Dutch and Spanish. In 2024, The Opposite Of Never will be released, his 13th album, on which he works with several musicians from The Netherlands, Spain and Germany.
