Natascha Falcão is a singer, composer and performer, born in Pernambuco, northeastern Brazil.
Born and raised in the city of Recife, she grew up hearing stories about her great-grandmother who used to run away from Belo Jardim, in the hinterland of Pernambuco, to sing in Recife.
Maybe that is why she has always sung.
Graduated in Dance and graduated in Communication, she has been researching theater and artistic expressions since 2006;
Living in Rio de Janeiro since 2013, she has occupied major stages in the city, always echoing her voice and her Pernambucan accent, honoring the original sounds of her land, mixing regional rhythms of Iberian-Afro-American ancestry, such as coco, ciranda, xote tangueado, with electronic timbres and textures.
Ave Mulher, her first full-length concept album, is scheduled for release in the second half of 2021.
