Andrea was born and raised in France, she grew up in the suburbs of Paris with her single mother who used to send her to Cape Vert every summer to spend the holidays and to connect with her cultural heritage.
Sundays were the special occasion for Andreia to listen to her aunts singing the traditional cape verdean songs, building without noticing a strong cultural connection between the singer and their hometown.
Andreia sings her own timeless and original compositions. An innovative musical universe that offers a travel thru the afrobeat passing the Caribbean music and landing in the urban music with a strong cape verdian influence.
In 2021 was selected as a Radio France International talent, and her first EP will be out this autumn, a project that’s puts under the spotlight her very special personality and the richness of her cultural background. A musical universe that respects the tradition but encounter the modernity. She sings to love, to lost friendships and to the desire of belong.
