Folkloric Music
José "Josho" González is a native of the province of La Rioja (Argentina), an important seedbed of talented composers and musicians. He takes the aspect of northern folklore with some La Rioja tints. In his wide repertoire we can find songs l of his own composition . His respect for his roots also persists in his work as interpreter.
His music is characterized for being a proposal of strong creole roots, with nuances that denote a deep sense of belonging to their homeland; nevertheless, it manages to add elements that give originality and present in the framework of his imprint of poet and melodist of the new songbook.

Josho González (cantautor riojano) que toma la vertiente del folklore norteño con algunos tintes de su tierra natal. Su propuesta refleja una fuerte raíz criolla desarrollando un repertorio que aborda canciones propias como, nuevo compositor, e interpreta canciones tradicionales del folklore; reconociéndose la influencia de Mercedes Sosa, Alfredo Ábalos, Rodolfo Regunaga, Dúo Salteño, Silvia Iriondo, entre otros; no obstante lo cual logra sumar elementos que dan originalidad y actualidad en el marco de su impronta de poeta y melodista del nuevo cancionero.
