The Cultural Centre of Bruges is one of the larger presentation platforms in Flanders and presents over 120 performances per season in a wide range of styles and genres: from contemporary dance and theatre, to rock, pop and worldmusic, comedy and visual arts. Its main venues are the historical Royal City Theatre which holds 650 seats and a multifunctional rockhall MaZ which holds 400 seats (but is also adaptable to hold 900 standing places). Besides these two halls, the Cultural Centre also manages two smaller theatres (each holding 220 seats) and three exhibition rooms, all situated in and around the city centre.
Next to the regular program, there is the annual dance festival December Dance and the biennial accordeon festival Airbag.
