This year 2007 will be not an ordinary year for Discipulos de Otilia: they are going to celebrate their fifteenth anniversary. Fifteen years had passed since a group of friends raised to a stage for the first time under this singular name during the Olympic Games held in Barcelona 1992. During these time, the Group has not stopped to grow in popularity, leaving behind him a stela of four discs recorded - Otilicos perdidos (1997), Otiliamina pura (1999), Ska Zone (2002) y Wateke (2004) and more than one thousand live concerts, among we can highlight its participation in the multitudinous concert No to the War together with the most important artistes from Barcelona, or its performance at MTV Awards Europe 2004 held in Edinburgh.

Now, Discipulos de Otilia want to celebrate this anniversary in the most spectacular way and the best way to do this it is as they best are able to do: with a new studio work "En Blanco&Negro" and with a splendid concerts tour that has taken them already to whole Catalunya (February 2007), and over the most important cities of Spain (April 2007), that it has continued through over several European countries as Germany and Switzerland (March 2007). After the successful tour by Aztec land, the group has been back to Mexico (May 2007) playing in front of 100.000 people at the Zocalo of Mexico D.F.. In June they've been opening for Madness at Glastonbury Festival in England. In autumn, they will be going on performing in Europe, in countries as England, Holland, Belgium, Italy and France.

Regarding the Cd, Discipulos de Otilia wants to get a special disc. "En Blanco&Negro" has been recorded in its own record company: Soul Panda Records, with its own recording studio and, as in its previous disc, it has been produced by Marc Bahamonde, one of the guitarists. We have decided to work with Blind Records in Barcelona for the mixing and the mastering has been performed by Nathan James at Jig Saw Sound Studios (New York).

Just because the richness that they got with the collaborations in their previous disc (Neville Steaple (The Specials), Warren Middleton, Bad Manner, among others), in this new disc they have got the collaboration of Fermin Muguruza , Julian Hernandez (Siniestro Total), La Fundacion Tony Manero and Chocadelia Internacional.

In addition to this, the new disco has a DVD with several bonus, as interviews, videos and a full up report on the Discipulos de Otilia tour at Mexico in 2006.
