Militantex

With over 10 years of work Militantex is a band that blends the beat and melodies of 3 musicians from Medellín, with a raw, urban and contemporary style that fuses jazz with rhythms such as trip-hop, dub, world music, funk and hip hop, expressing through these languages their instrumental, explosive and delirious vision of those city streets they inhabit.
Militantex continues to consolidate its characteristic sound, and strengthen its circulation in the Colombian national circuit, reaching places as diverse as the Urabá region of Antioquia, on top of a series of tours through places such as Valle del Cauca, along with its participation in festivals such as Rock X La Vida 2019 Medellín, and Radiónica Sessions. By 2020 the band seeks to continue its sound growth by launching new material with international guests and expanding its concert circuit in both Colombia and Latin America.
