The Hungarian government announced new regulations over the weekend in an effort to contain the second wave of the Corona pandemic. Details of the official regulations will be released tomorrow, Tuesday, 1 September, 2020.
We at Piranha, together with our local partner, Hangveto, are currently assessing the situation and what it means for WOMEX 20 in Budapest. We will provide further information by the end of the week. Until then, we kindly ask you to be patient.
Please keep in mind, registration fees will be fully refunded in case WOMEX 20 has to be cancelled, or if attendance is made impossible due to official travel restrictions/quarantine measures at the time of the event.
