LaMontagne & PicoAmperio: futuristic and technologic sounds bringing the tradition back to the present through trip hop, lots of flow and counterculture tints.

Where the avant-garde and the Atlantic tradition meets, there will always be the meeting point of LaMontagne & PicoAmperio, they are able to build bridges between ancient music and literature, bringing them back to present.

Achieving with Laura´s voice and Pedro´s loops that the public tele transport themselves to a hybrid, unique, hypnotic and magnetic universe. The band presents in their first record, “Algo que sinalar”, a free adventure with no string. Like a matryoshka, you can find in it songs with a lot of layers that will open before your eyes; with a rebel structure where you can find intimacy, sweetness, loads of energy and, also, a little melancholy.

Topics like the search for identity (Eu vexo), the celebration of a new adventure (Avelaneiras Frolidash), the importance of the lessons learned while walking the way (Porque no mundo), the infinite sadness (Ondas do mar de Vigo) or the gratitude to life (40tena) are some of the feelings to enjoy in this first album, totaling eight songs written and produced by LaMontagne & PicoAmperio.

They are authentic trip hop mixed with a strong contemporary urban music. The eternal loop of the Atlantic sound.

Ever since LaMontagne (Lugo, 1993) and PicoAmperio (Os Tilos, 1995) joined their paths in 2019, they brought their personal proposal to events and prestigious venues like MUBEA, MMVV or Monkey Week. They were awarded with the Martin Codax award to the best urban music band and got the first position of the demoscopic lists in 2019 in Mondosonoro. They were the protagonists of the official concert for the Día das Letras Galegas in 2021, dedicated to poetess Xela Arias and their recent presence in festivals like BAM, Cantos na Maré, Periferias, Sinsal, Revenidas ir their show before more than 40.000 people in Castrelos (Vigo) are a good sample of their unstoppable expansion to a trip that has already started.
