Dora Vergueiro was raised in an artistic environment. Carlinhos Vergueiro's daughter, a very well-known Brazilian singer and composer, she has been surrounded by the masters of Brazilian pop music since her childhood.

Her first CD, "Leve", recorded in 1997, had the participation of some of the most famous musicians as Wagner Tiso, Vittor Santos and Celso Fonseca.

After launching her second CD, "Pe a Estrada" Dora Vergueiro established herself as a singer and has been traveling throughout Brazil showing her talent through a Brazilian mix of samba/pop/reggae.

Her third CD, although not released yet, brings different dancing rhythms, blending her musical influences with her own compositions.
"Daquele Jeito", a samba song, which starts to be worked on in this single, was composed by her father, Carlinhos Vergueiro, who was responsible for her upbringing among the most select people from the Brazilian musical scene, and by Afonso Machado. Dora also composed 16 songs with her father.
Also Marcelinho da Lua's participation, reading along the lyrics, made a difference leading to an original and full of swing result.
On her shows Dora Vergueiro sings some of her recorded songs as " Oh Chuva" ( by Luis Carlos), " Vamos Fugir "(by Gilberto Gil and Liminha), "Pe a Estrada" ( by Dora Vergueiro), Vagabundo Confesso ( by Nestor Capoeira), as well as new arrangements specially created for famous songs by Bob Marley, Bebeto, Roberto Carlos, Lulu Santos and Tim Maia.
