Sharp, Glenn

Glenn Sharp is a Grammy-nominated guitarist, composer and producer based in Manchester. He has worked in the UK’s world music industry for more than 25 years, utilising his specialist knowledge of traditional global music, from Arabic and Flamenco to South Asian and Persian. Glenn’s compositions have been heard in film, television, and video games, and includes Ivor Novello award-winning and Grammy-nominated projects. He has worked with international artists including Hossam Ramzy, Nitin Sawhney and Jasdeep Singh Degun and on many award-winning video game soundtracks for SEGA. Glenn received a Grammy nomination in 2012 for his flamenco guitar and composition work with Arun Shenoy.
