CINARS (the International Exchange for the Performing Arts) is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 and based in Montreal.
While contributing to the international recognition of Canadian artists, CINARS’ mission is to encourage and support the export of performing arts. CINARS aims to intensify the circulation of dance, theatre, music, circus arts and multidisciplinary arts by implementing tools and services that will further excellence and cost effectiveness while enhancing the visibility of the finest artistic creations.
CINARS is recognized worldwide for its Biennial Event. Its latest edition, CINARS 2018, brought together in Montreal over 1900 artists, agents, presenters, producers and observers from 54 countries. It featured 253 dance, theatre, music and multidisciplinary arts productions from Canada and abroad, a 151-booth exhibition room, as well as several workshops and seminars. It thus comes as no surprise that the event has become a key event for the performing arts milieu, after 18 successful editions!
CINARS 2020 will be held in Montreal from November 9 to 14, 2020, and will provide you with ample opportunities for networking, seeing and being seen.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Montreal!
