Actually we represent several groups from Catalonia, Basque Country, and France.

LA KINKY BEAT: With two albums "Made in Barna" and “One more time” (both Kasba Music)this group has already done more than hundred concerts in a year. Their new show, which features the renowned Italian DJ/MC, DJ Rudeman, establishes a professional band, backed by a skilled technical team and simple but effective staging, where the energy created by the group and its music is its greatest lure. They've been playing in Mexico, Brasil and across Europe.

NOUR: ‘Light’ in Arabic is the new project proposed by Yacine (the ex-singer with Cheb Balowski), Rubio (guitarist with Color Humano and 08001) and Pau “Guillamino” (keyboards and samplers). "Papier Mullat" (Kasba Music 2007)its the name of their first album that presents us with new sounds and melodies as the group fuses traditional Maghrebian and Asian rhythms with electronic reinforcement, creating warm music, with dense foundations and shape, bringing Asian references to Occidental music.

RAUXA: The newly formed group from Sabadell has triumphed this year with its first CD, “S’ha acabat el seny”(Sanity´s end), (Musica Global, 2005). With close to seventy concerts and participation in large festivals, their music induces dancing and partying, with its particular Catalonian flavour of rumba-cumbia full of spice.

FUFU-AI: With their first CD, “Petit Fleur” (Kasba Music, 2006), this group composed of musicians like Tomas Arroyos (ex-Dusminguet and Color Humano), Anouk (from Color Humano) and Laia (from Brazuca Matraca) has little by little conquered the Barcelona musical scene and begun to play powerfully in France. Its pop-rock with evocations of the French chanson and Anouk´s melodic voice will not leave you indifferent.

SAGARROI: This season the band led by Iñigo Muguruza presented its new work, “Baleike” (Kasba Music, 2006). With this, their fourth CD, the group continues along its trajectory initiated with their second CD. With each new CD the songs are more danceable and little by little they extend the group’s range of music with references to their travels to Germany, Cuba, Switzerland and Japan. This year they incorporated a singer in the band and their live performances are taking shape and becoming stronger.

RÀBIA POSITIVA: With four albums and more than ten years of experience, this group from Barcelona has become one of the bands with the longest trajectories in Catalonia. Their live performances, an electric blend of accelerated rock and more finely brushed melodies, highlighted the stages of Brazil this past fall. They are now preparing for their new album.

XAZZAR: The band, a mixed group (seven women and two men) was created at the end of 2005 and is the musical revelation of 2006. It began winning contests, with the Injuve, which opened the door to play in Salamanca with Fanfare Ciocarlia and at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. Then it won the Sona 9 contest, which in turn led to the recording and publication of the band’s first album before the year was out. Their music is Gypsy-Klexmer-jazz or cheerful Balkan music that also embraces other musical influences.

BLACK BAUDELAIRE: When hip hop meets African music at the hands of French, Ecuadorian and Spanish musicians and the lyric foundation comes precisely from two Senegalese is when you encounter a surprise like this one. Afro hip hop made in Barcelona with razor sharp guitars, a powerful electric base and black voices singing lyrics in Spanish, French and Woloff.

DAM: This is one of the most widely exhibited of the Palestinian influenced hip hop groups. Representatives from a new generation have encountered in hip hop a way to express their rage, their frustration, their resistance and the vitality of their culture. The music is also a reflection of their lives: the beatbox and the urban hip hop program mix with string instruments, laúdes and derboukas from the Palestinian musical tradition.

LA VARDA: The title of their last album, “Les chemins de l’errance” (Unpredictable Roads) (ID Records, 2005), the third from this band from southern France, perfectly represents the group. It’s a fusion of stories, music and instruments and the memories of the places where their numerous travels have taken them. The album is a musical blend of vintage melodies from around the world grounded in the concept of the rock concert, live energy on stage, giving birth to a new style known as alternative folk.
