With a reputation for innovation and vision for the Māori people of Aotearoa, New Zealand, InDigiNation is the enabling force behind our most influential Māori Music artists and revolutionary expressions of Māori Music in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Co-directed by Womex Delegate Cilla Ruha - creative navigator, music manager, haka choreographer, artistic producer, female executive, fearless game-changer and mentor of many.

Born of the Tairāwhiti haka dynasty, Cilla Ruha has augmented her Executive music space to reflect better the heart of her Māoritanga, dismantling and reframing the Music Management role into a more symbiotic relationship of the ‘Kapehu’ or the 'Creative Navigator'.

Cilla Ruha holds a master's Degree in Māori Philosophy, asserting Haka as an Indigenous Framework for Education. It is upon the wisdom of this framework that Cilla rose as Lead Creative Navigator and Director of InDigiNation Music. This organisation lives to "immerse the world in Māori Music" and "empower Indigenous Artists to be creative forces for good", says Cilla.

InDigiNation curates transformational moments that elevate the recognition of Māori Music to a whole new level on the world stage. InDigiNation is behind the 2023 New York Radio Awards Gold Award-winning Live Concert entitled Ka Po Ka Ao: Rob Ruha Live in Concert with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, NZ Award-winning Visual Music Album Mōhau, Musical Co-Director for the ground-shifting New Zealand APRA Silver Scrolls performances in 2021 & 2022, Creative Navigation for Multi-Award winning platinum artists Rob Ruha (also joining in the Womex 2023 Delegation), Teeks and rangatahi sensations Ka Hao, InDigiNation has been instrumental in converting Māori Music into Popular Culture within Aotearoa New Zealand and the world.
