Julie Ojito is by profession, a musician and audio producer, but also music manager and events producer, based in Barranquilla, Colombia (north Caribbean coast). She is part of Barranquijazz Festival's production team and also manager of three of the best proposals working with Jazz elements from Barranquilla. These are:

- La Bandita, (Latinjazz with a Colombian flare, band of 8).
- Gonzalo Lubo's Quintet (Saxophone leader mixing traditional sonorities and ancestral instruments with jazz).
- Leonardo Donado Cazimba Quartet (Pianist Leonardo Donado and other 3 Maestros, take us on journey through the greatest hits of the Colombian Caribbean music including Joe Arroyo's tunes, reinterpreted through Jazz).
