Are We Punks Or Not?, asks Telmo Soares’ eponymous documentary, capturing the band 5ª Punkada whose members are associated with the Cerebral Palsy Association of Coimbra (APCC). And surely, the answer is a resounding yes! Lucia Kagramanyan’s feature Panorama Yerevan – The Rock Edition inaugurates a new series of documentaries exploring the thriving music scenes of Armenia’s capital, drawing on Lucia’s popular NTS Radio show of the same name. Pedro Coquenão aka Batida’s experimental film Batida apresenta: The Almost Perfect DJ deconstructs and questions the revered role of the DJ, loosely set around Lisbon's music scene. Explore these three inspiring films from our 2022 Lisbon edition of WOMEX.
