At Womex '21, we promote three specially selected Finnish artists The Blassics, Dub Vallila and Mama Longhorn to connect them with new opportunities in the international scene. These three bands are also the first ones to be highlighted on our brand new Funky Finland online artist portal, which will be the #1 guide to the black music subgenres' top acts in the land of the thousand lakes... and rhythms!

Funky Amigos non-profit association promotes black rhythm music and its artists as well as cultural diversity and tolerance in Finland. We create opportunities for local acts to perform as well as introduce internationally acknowledged artists to the Finnish audience. Our activities are not only limited to our own event and festival production, but we also produce informational content on different media channels covering both the local and the international scene as well as topical phenomenon of black rhythm music and its subcultures.
