At WOMEX2025, we promote two specially selected Finnish artists Mama Longhorn and Vodou Fusion to find them new international opportunities. We also promote the Funky Finland website, launched in 2022, where both bands are introduced and dozens of other most remarbable Finnish acts. Funky Finland is your constantly developing new online guide to top-notch rhythm music artists in the land of the thousand lakes... and rhythms!

Funky Amigos non-profit association promotes diverse organic rhythm music and its artists but also cultural diversity and tolerance in Finland. We create opportunities for local acts to perform and introduce internationally acknowledged artists to the international audience. Our activities are not only limited to our own event and festival production, but we also produce informational content on different media channels covering both the local and the international scene, topical phenomenon of black rhythm music and its subcultures.
