Mescal produces and follows through new musicians and valuable projects that very often are underestimated or, even worst, ignored by the official music industry in Italy. We guarantee the artists a first class treatment, so that they could be followed step by step. Mescal started out its overall activities in 1993 and began producing records as a label in 1997. Since the beginning it has been fully involved in the management of the artists as well as the live section.

Regarding the management, bands with a record contract with Sony, Universal, Virgin and Ricordi-BMG are followed step by step through the record production, the promotional strategies, special events, the publishing rights and the research of sponsors or endorsement that do not damage the artists image.

Live productions, bookings and press office are all taken care of from the main office in Nizza Monferrato, near Asti , a beautiful location on the hills of Monferrato. Mescal has also offices in Milan.

The artists so far published under Mescal’s label are the following:

Afterhours / Andrea Ra / Casa del Vento /Cesare Basile/ Cristina Donà / Estra / Fiamma / Francesco-C / Fratelli di Soledad / Garbo / Lotus / Mambassa / Mao / Mau Mau / Modho / Motel Connection / Marco Parente / Subsonica / Sushi / Yo Yo Mundi

The artists we take care of just for the management and live booking are:

Bluvertigo / La Sintesi / Modena City Ramblers / Monovox / Morgan
