When two people from the same company register at the full regular price, every person who registers as part of that same company thereafter receives this discount.

This discount does not apply to registrations made during the “Early Rate”, until Friday, 17 April 2026!

Journalists play a vital role in the dissemination of music and in keeping the important discourse on this art form alive. WOMEX acknowledges this by offering a reduced rate to journalistic media professionals, subject to approval. Valid and current credentials are mandatory.

If you are a delegate who will attend WOMEX first and foremost in your role as a journalist or as a professional involved in the editorial work of a music media company, follow these steps to register for our special Media Rate:

1. Register online.
2. Check the "Media registration" option when you are entering your personal delegate data (about halfway through the registration process).
3. Email media@womex.com with a copy of your valid and current press credentials attached.
4. After confirmation from our communications department, you will be granted the discounted Media Rate.

We care about the next generation of music professionals! Therefore WOMEX offers a special student price of 170 euro + 3% local consumer tax (IGIC), subject to capacity. The registration will be valid for all five days and is exclusively reserved for those enrolled in a student programme leading to a high school or academic degree or equivalent qualification, who attend WOMEX in a learning capacity and not on behalf of a running business.

Valid and current student credentials are mandatory. A student registration does not include access to virtualWOMEX profiles or services (no visibility on WOMEX‘ websites, App or listings). If you are entitled to student price, follow these steps:

1. Register online.
2. Select the "Student registration" option (about halfway through the registration process).
3. Email registration@womex.com with a copy of your student credentials attached.
4. After confirmation from our registration department, you will be granted the student price.

Welcome to the WOMEX community!

Anyone can book a stand and become an exhibitor at the WOMEX Trade fair. Follow these steps to book a stand in addition to your Delegate registration:

1. Register online.
2. Select a free stand from the map in the Stands section (about halfway through the registration process).
3. Enter a valid EU Vat ID in the company data or email registration@womex.com with valid and current proof of tax residency and entrepreneurship (non-EU only).
4. After confirmation from our registration department, you will receive further information for exhibitors.

Speakers and Showcase Artists

If you are an officially selected WOMEX conference speaker or a WOMEX showcase artist representative you will receive a free registration. If not, you will have to pay like everybody else to join the party.

Register Early

WOMEX is a strictly no-guest-list event, but we do try to keep our registration fees as low as possible. So if you plan to come, be smart and register early to keep your expenses to a minimum.

Funding

Fighting for funding (local, national, international, cultural or commercial) for your WOMEX visit is a good way to educate public and private structures that music is a major force in both global trade and cultural exchange; and hopefully it will add to your budget at the same time.

The WOMEX Registration desk as well as the Delegate, Media and Artist Check-in will be located at Auditorio Alfredo Kraus, the main daytime venue.

If you have registered and fully paid in advance, please bring your ID card and collect your badge at the Check-in. There is no printed ticket.
